    The Great 7mm Debate!

7RM with 180's at 3040fps works perfectly. Same speed as the 7LRM and multiple brass options. Several of the guys I have built them for are at or just over the 1800 round mark and they are still shooting sub 1/2moa. They aren't using them as match rifles though.

    22" barrel for 6.5 creedmoor?

I run a 24" barrel and the 130's at 2950. Could run them a little faster but they are extremely accurate where its at. From what I have seen its basically 25-30fps/inch of barrel. Will have a 22" finished up soon and can give results from it as well, but I am guessing close to 2900 with the...

Most of the private timberland leases don't allow target shooting. I looked at the Green Diamond and Port Blakely leases. Both specifically say no target shooting. Hunting, camping, etc was fine, but most didnt' allow firearms unless it was a legal big game season.

My new RBros Rifle in 6.5x47 Lapua

Sounds like she was behaving during your first range testing Steve. Since we know what it will do with the 130 load I gave you, I know you will be happy. Thanks for the compliments.....not sure I can live up to Hattori Hanzo name though. Look forward to seeing you at the match in a few...

Rifle Scopes New Optic from Nightforce?

The hunting market is way larger than the tactical market. Nf will set a ton of these scopes if they are good quality which I imagine they are. I am guessing this and the new Bushnell scope will boost both companies sales with the hunting market.

LOL Jake, The most accurate, not sure about that claim. Jesse and I have shot probably 20K rounds through the 6.5x47's and that load is pretty hard to beat when using the spec'd components. That is the beauty of the 6.5x47, it will shoot just about anything a guy runs through it. Here...

    23" vs 25" 6.5 creedmoor

    I run 130's at 2950 in a 24" Broughton. 140's were 2820ish. Didn't shoot many of them.
