I'm new to the long range game but not new to to shooting. Just want to buy once cry once and get the best scope for my money. I know the top brands, just wanting a good recommendation on the scope. Likes and dislikes. I know I want a FFP but that is all I'm stuck on.

I would look at Dong's in Tulsa for powder. He usually has everything in stock. Not always the best price but they usually have it.

I've had real good results with N110 in my ar. Ok results with AA9. Haven't tried lil gun yet but I'm looking at faster burning powders now that I have a bolt gun.

I've built two of em using BHW 18" barrels and have shot it at 550 yards. You could cover five shots with an iPhone. I was using Sierra game king 120 bullets. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another BHW barrel.

Top is 175 smk gmm Bottom 175 smk 43.5 Varget. 5 shot groups.

43.5 grains of Varget with 175 smk is about 30 fps faster than gmm 175 and are giving single hole groups in a friends dta.

If you're gonna do its send it to Hoser. It'll save you a headache if your not properly equipped. All you need to do is debur it when you get it back and it's ready to load. You probably wouldn't have to debur it. I chamfer all the necks on my brass. His brass is the best I've found.
