Ohio deer hunting scope
I live in Ohio and hunted for a couple seasons with a Ruger 77/44, equipped with a Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4 scope. It had the "Firedot" illuminated reticle, and it was perfect for dawn or dusk in dark woods. I believe this scope has been discontinued, but I know they offer something similar but...- RMerillat

Throat Erosion on my 6 creed
I'll chime in with my 6mm Creedmoor experience. I just replaced my Brux 8 twist barrel at 1300 rds. The throat had moved forward .060 inch. Throughout it's life, I used 42 gr. of H4350 with a Berger 105 hybrid; velocity early on was 3070 fps. It still seemed to shoot well in terms of groups...- RMerillat

Jard Triggers.
I can't speak about the Jard trigger for the 700, but I did recently install one on a Cooper varmint rifle.
