Sure. There are better choices out there now that travel through the transonic a bit better. For example, the Berger 185 that Federal loads as well. I would much rather take that load to that distance and even further just to stretch the legs.

The current set up of the AR10 with Bushnell DMR scope, nightforce rings and atlas is a little over 12 lbs. My 300 win mag PSS was at 14lbs with Vortex Viper PST rings and MARS rail. I just dropped it in an AIAT chassis and seems quite a bit heavier. I will weigh it an post that when I get home.
