My understanding is that if you are using DA, and temperature.. the temperature is needed to calculate the speed of sound at a given temperature. I had once asked about DA and temperature and this was what was explained to me.
Since people are posting their image of their PWS.. here's mine. It has a Bell & Carlson Anschutz stock, Kidd trigger, Kidd bull barrel and a SWFA SS 1-6x24 scope. I'm debating whether to put my 5-24x scope on it to shoot out little holes.
Get new rings or modify the rail. I personally prefer my scope close to the rail. If you do raise it, which is totally fine, I would add a stock comb raiser to the stock to keep a good cheek weld and get good sight picture.
Oh.. I see. It's now Velocity Calibration.. Where it will try to calculate it for you from your known adjustments. I'll have to play with that worth my known adjustments.. I still would like it have the Muzzle Velocity Tool to fine tune.
I had a older version of Shooter installed on my old android phone. Never updated it until I bought a new phone. So I installed the new version from Google Play and found that the interface was changed. Not a issue until I wanted to use the Muzzle Velocity Tool.. and couldn't find it...
Interesting using the O ring, but I rather polish the mount a little bit to get it to the next lockup tooth. What I would worry about with the O ring is melting point temperature and lockup vs recoil wiggle. Plus fine sandpaper vs a $40 O ring.. sandpaper is cheaper.
