    yep , I know MDT does , NF does I think maybe some of the Weaver made Pic rails might. I know that EGW don’t , had one of those shear screws mid match back when I first started shooting.

    I look for a rail or mount with recoil lug. Have never had a problem with 6/48 screws with a lugged rail . MDT and NF are 2 that I have had no issues with, both have decent recoil lugs . I have had screws break on a EGW rail , no lug.

    NX8 or Mk5? or?

    Nightforce is Australian owned and this model made in Japan so not sure what's American about that. Not saying any of those are bad things, but the leupold is more American if that is a real factor in your choice.

    I have quite a bit of this stuff, also shoots very well in the SSG69 , trajectory matched the BDC markings on the Tasco 6X44 Sniper Scope also.
