Rifle Scopes Japan Optics LTD any good? Their scopes are being blown out

Has anyone figured out which factory is supplying the new Crimson Trace riflescopes (Hardline, Brushline)?

Rifle Scopes Armament Technology Inc SAI 6

Is the Japanese OEM LOW or JOL?

Too Many AR Optic Options Out There...HELP.

For a farm truck rifle, I think LPVO is the obvious choice, particularly for coyotes. These LPVOs are assembled in the USA: * Leupold Mark 8 1.1-8x24 * Leupold Mark 6 1-6x20 * Leupold VX-6HD 1-6x24 * Leupold VX-5HD 1-5x24 CDS-ZL2 * Leupold VX-4.5HD Service Rifle 1-4.5x24 * NightForce ATACR...

Rifle Scopes Japan Optics LTD any good? Their scopes are being blown out

.2 MRAD adjustments are common on LPVOs, and I don't think is indicative of the OEM.

    Rifle Scopes New Leupold Scopes

Wow, the new Leupold.com is up. All new reticle images and diagrams. Also: MSRP has been lowered to MAP?!

    1-8 Brownells MPO

SFP MRAD CQ-NOMR reticle. Brownells also lists a “N-OMR” reticle in the “plus mount” package, but I suspect that is a typo, and it’s just the one reticle option.

Rifle Scopes New Kahles 5-25 Variant

Am I dumb for asking why the FOV ratio is less than the power ratio? What happened to "half the power, double the FOV"? Kahles 5-25 Kahles 5-25 DLR ZCO 5-27 reported FOV 21.3-4.5 ft @ 100 yds 23.10-4.8 ft @ 100 yds 21-4.5 ft @ 100 yds FOV ratio 21.3/4.5 = 4.7333 23.1/4.8 = 4.8125...

Rifle Scopes New Kahles 5-25 Variant

Funny thing about the conversion: you do not need to know there are 1.094 yards per meter. X unit @ 100 unit is the same angular measure whether unit is yards or meters. "10m @ 100m" equals "10yds @ 100yds".

    1-8 Brownells MPO

Brownells receives rifle scope shipments from JOL but not from LOW.

    Rifle Scopes New Leupold Scopes

Yes, at least for now. EuroOptic and OpticsPlanet list the same new scopes Doug posted.

    Rifle Scopes New Leupold Scopes

Also worth mentioning the new DeltaPoint Micro for non-MOS Glock or S&W M&P. Dovetail mount, provides lower 1/3 co-witness with factory iron front sight, 3.5 battery life, motion-on, and machined rear sight dots in case the battery dies. Nifty...

    Rifle Scopes New Leupold Scopes

It appears the VX-Freedom AR line is being phased out (listed as "No longer for sale" on Leupold.com) and replaced by the Mark 3HD line. That is, the Mark 3HD is appears to be the VX-Freedom AR with upgraded glass. Both have P5 dials, 30mm tubes, same magnification ranges. Is this accurate?

Rifle Scopes Reticles for Meopta Optika 6 scopes.

Not really, MRAD-1 is pretty much it. Zplus is sorta a tree with 2-MOA hashes. IMO, reticles are the weak link for Meopta. Here’s all the Meopta reticles on one page: https://sageratsafaris.com/meopta-rifle-scopes-and-red-dots/

    Scopes NOT MADE IN CHINA?

A different summary of the supply-chain information found here: Master list of FFP long range scopes I hesitate to post this, because talking about OEMs seems taboo. Compiled from public sources, and probably not perfect. Nobody ever talks about specific OEMs (other than sometimes touting...
