Re: 162 Amax beyond 1000 No doubt the 180 Bergers have the best BC, but the 175SMK as mentioned is also a very good 7mm bullet. My friend is using a G7 of 0.327 as estimated by Litz, pretty much spot on out to 1500m. The 162 Amax is listed with a lower BC than the 175SMK in Litz's book, IIRC...

Re: 190's or 220's??? I would recommend the 208 Amax. To become good at (E)LR, you have to shoot a lot, and the 208 will get you far out for a low cost. Other bullets I have used with success are the 225 gr Hornady, and the 230 gr Berger. They will all get you past 1000 yds no problem.

Re: .338 EDGE 2000 yard shot video IMO cali_tz is spot on regarding the Vectronix, by far the best range finders I have used. If you have the need, they are well worth the money. Pure Swiss quality.
