    Also look into shimming the barrel so it free floats. It helped mine slightly before I just gave up and went chassis.

    I have the exact same rifle. My load: 175 SMK 45.7 gr RL-15 Remington Brass CCI primers I had a node at 44 grains too but only 2400 fps. This load has the occasional flat primer but no other pressure signs. Don't start here obviously...
