Yeah I understand that's how its designed to be used. I wanted it to be rigid without loading it on the bench.

Had some fun with a few magpul bipods. I didn't care for the inherent 'by design' wiggle. Anyway food for thought.

I really like the build quality of the UTG pro line but their designs are lacking. Pretty sure they could make a simple well made bipod with a more limited and/or tighter lockup mechanism within the same price range as these.

I get dumb ideas frequently but was wondering if anyone else might have already gone down this bad decision road before. It’s not that I need to fix the magpul bipod or can’t afford a better bipod. I have better bipods. It’s just that it seems like it could be fixed relatively easily at least...

Since the AMG UH-1 isn't out yet, there's not much solid info. It seems to be a holographic type sight like an EOTech. I've emailed Vortex about the window size and its pretty big, relatively speaking. If you want to check out a cool red dot, the Holosun 510C is pretty neat and not too expensive.

Sorry if this is a recurring question. I couldn't find anything through searching. I'm curious how scopes with seemingly similar construction and optics compare in the overlap zoom range. I don't want to deviate from that general question so lets just assume both scopes are same make and same...
