Re: barrel threading differences It will be much easier to back bore the brake a couple of threads without it affecting function on either rifle. In other words, much more simple to chuck, true and relief cut the brake vs the barrel.

Re: Engraving Question Look up "pantograph". The motor is not needed (suprised me), just fonts, a tracing arm and a diamond tip stylus. There was a good thread on this over on benchrest central. Basically you clamp in the barrel, set out your fonts and trace away. I still need to buy one.
