    Normal Baffle Wear?

Are you using a brake or flash hider? You've got me wanting to check mine now...

Radius side mounted - How well does it work?

Wow, what a great idea. I missed the boat on these when SiCo blew them out.

    Question on a weapons light

Did you take the cap(s) off and look around the interior for any markings?

    Xtreme bullets

I've loaded 1000+ of them. I only get the 147s. Great for shooting steel as the plating is softer than a traditional jacket.

    308 rounds fail case gauge

Should I do that after doing all the case prep right before I seat bullets, or before I trim/chamfer/debur? I'm using the RCBS trim mate prep center. To my knowledge, the chamfering/deburing tools are universal size so I shouldn't need to swap them out between 223 and 308.

    Soooo.. We blew one up

Come to think of it, I'm not sure a 5.56 squib will have enough power with just a primer to push a bullet into the chamber. I'll make one later to test.

    308 rounds fail case gauge

So I just played with this a little using some TMK bullets. I thought about the neck tension and checked with the Ballistic tools gauge which appears to .305 after using the neck sizing die. That almost eliminated the copper shavings. It seemed to fix my gauge problem. I'm guessing that...

    308 rounds fail case gauge

I'm new to loading .308 but have been reloading other calibers for almost 10 years. I'm full length re-sizing and they gauge just fine. I'm chauffeuring and deburing the mouths. No crimp. I checked a batch of 50 before seating bullets and they all gauged just perfectly. I seated the...

    Soooo.. We blew one up

I was running 5.56 and had a PMAG with (1) 300 BO in the bottom. On the rebound from the previous 5.56 round it chambered and went into battery with the 300 BO round. Next trigger pull, KABOOM! Here is what a 308 bullet swagged into a 5.56 chamber looks like...

    KAC SR25 challenge!!!

I've looked at getting an SR-25 several times over the years. Couldn't justify spending the cash on a .308 gun and the price seemed to climb every 6 months or so. I bought an M82A1 instead! ROAST!

    Reloading fun

I have a 650. Similar setup for me. I actually load all the primer tubes in front of the TV or something before I start loading. Usually load 500-1000 at a time. I have the toolheads setup with the dies and powder drop already setup. Like you said, takes 10 min or so for me to get the press...

    Suppressors Eforms system taken down

I can't say I'm surprised. The website looked like it was from the 1995, and the few times I was able to sign in it was dog ass slow. I had a form 1 "saved" in the website which I guess I'll just file on paper. I've got a form 3 out on silencershop as well. I guess the good news is I have...

Best bolt action .22LR for fun practice?

What he said. I had the FV-SR but hated the plastic stock and 16" barrel. It may be good to hunt with if you are concerned about weight. I ended up getting the MKII TRR which comes with the longer barrel and boyd stock. The accutrigger is one of the best "stock" triggers I have used. The CZ...

Zeiss Terra 4x12x42 Z plex reticle which I'm not crazy about.
