    Gunwerks New Action

Looks interesting. The full length ARCA rail looks well integrated, but I would love to see it in person. I will be interested to see if a non-gunwerks manufacture starts making pre-fits for them. Proof doesn’t offer prefits for the other GW actions, so I don’t think they would jump on this...

Army to buy 107,000 Sig m5 rifles, 13,000 Sig m250 LMG, total $4.7 billion contract

Why would they do complete rifles when the uppers work on the already owned, and functional lowers?

Army to buy 107,000 Sig m5 rifles, 13,000 Sig m250 LMG, total $4.7 billion contract

Bingo! it seems to be less and less common. I tend to keep my mouth shut on the hide because I recognize that there are many folks that are further down the path of learning. As someone who has seen the rifle and MG shoot, and have actual experience with the optics, I’ll be interested to see...

Army to buy 107,000 Sig m5 rifles, 13,000 Sig m250 LMG, total $4.7 billion contract

Soooo…who has read the specific contract for exactly what is included for the cost and number of units? All I have read so far in this thread is a bunch of people throwing ideas at a wall, with some much more likely to be correct than others. Until the exact scope of the contract is known...

Knight SR-15 LPR Mod 2 accuracy expectations

When I did an internal comparison of my LPR versus my 14.5", I tried BH 77gr smk, tmk, IWI 77gr Razor Core, and something from hornady (looking for my notes). Best groups came in around 0.9 moa, averaged around 1-1.1moa. My 14.5" shot from 1.2moa to 1.4moa with the same ammo. My LPR was...

Reloading Equipment WTS 6.5mm 600 bullet total, Hornady, Lapua, Berger

Looking to sell as one lot, will not split at this time. I had bought up many of these with the intent of building a 6.5 SAUM, but budget has changed. This grouping has 2x 100ct boxes of 143gr Hornady ELD-X’s, 1x 100ct 140gr Hornady Match (Pre ELD-M), 1x 100ct 140gr Hornady A-Max’s 1x 100ct...

    Cutting Edge 22 ELR ammo

The press release is for the 32gr. So yes, not the ELR projectile that people are looking forward to. But if people purchase this current offering it’ll work in 1:16 twist.

    Cutting Edge 22 ELR ammo

For this first model you only need a 1:16 for this bullet. In the future you will need the 1:9.

    ELR group in interior Alaska.......

I know Jason is on here, but I forgot his name on the forum. An outstanding gentleman who truly loves long range shooting, and sharing it with others as well.

    Rifle Scopes New Leupold Reticle

I think some may be forgetting the marketing aspect. We may like a reticle and price point so much that we pick up a scope in a magnification we aren’t super fans of, while waiting for it to be released in the one we really want. Sell every bit of the model you can now, then offer changes and...

    Rifle Scopes New Leupold Reticle

Atleast it says “not currently available”. Which is better than “it won’t be”. Makes sense to put it into the 5-25 first for the PRS folks, then something that is more likely for a gas gun. But that 5-25 would be great on my 22.
