My biggest issue: the plastic knob. Mine had a molding mark on it that I had to sand down. Aside from that it was mostly preference for a swept handle. With the Sterk I can definitely cycle faster and lift, as pointed out above, is lighter as well.

I can check when I get home, but from what I remember it doesn't stick out as much.

Absolutely loving this one! The Sterk handle is icing on the cake.

Glades Armory makes a swept handle too. I've got a Sterk on the way and a Glades, so I'll be able to compare them shortly.

Re: Roscoe built Surgeon 308 Had to cut the range trip short, just started raining like a mofo. Got to shoot a few rounds off at 100 an 300. 4 shot group at 100 was .21 CTC 5 shot group at 300 was 1.08 roughly CTC Really impressed with it so far, I'm sure I can squeeze some better groups...
