    Hornady 6mm ARC.

:p Yeah it drives me nuts because I miss 6x47's wind advantage but hated ordering barrels by 1300 rounds.

Air is the future! Bolt Action PCP and AIR Rifles ☆ Show em here

I used to own a Daystate Panther which was their 3rd gen electronic system and it had something wrong with it that was never figured out, it would throw big flyers once in a while which cost me our AZ state FT match one year. That was 5-6 years ago. These new Redwolfs are way more refined and...

    Hornady 6mm ARC.

I'll probably go 28" barrel next time too which will hopefully make up 45 fps compared to a 26" which I'm using now. But I'll look into it more. Thanks.

Or a Red Wolf. A couple friends have them and they are such a refined rifle! One of these friends got the best ART barrel that AOA had tested and it's pretty amazing for a pellet gun. He's had quite a few sub 1" groups at 100Y and some screamers. His 22 cal does 980 fps with 22 cal 25gr JSB...

Air is the future! Bolt Action PCP and AIR Rifles ☆ Show em here

It's true that PCP's can have super low ES and as soon as the industry catches up with slug design, barrels, twists, etc, that consistently rival 22rf's in accuracy and precision I'll be all over it! There hasn't really been a following for sub centerfires that shoot sub moa but I wouldn't be...

    New 6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge

Marketing - like what the Co's first advertised the 224 Valkyrie to achieve?! Then they figured out that loading it down was better than blown primers and ruined 1x brass. I helped a guy experimenting with a wildcat that is basically a 224V, and the developer found out that at the time only SSA...

I've been shooting PCP airguns for 24 years now, they are a great addition to any gun enthusiast. Quote """far more accurately than any subsonic powder load""" I think your statement here is a bit misleading. Rogerthat, go look at the 6x5 results in the 22rf forum. PCP's are not quite "there"...

    Hornady 6mm ARC.

I know you reload, me too so...I'd rather go 22PPC because Norma has factory brass. Probably get 223AI speeds plus some in a AR. Just guessing, 95 SMK at 2600-2700??? That'd be AR awesomeness. Others disagree but i think the extra capacity of the 6mmART40 and the 6mmFATRAT does help in the...

One and done custom gun to replace old Rem700 SPS-V 308

I'd scratch the 6.5x47L and the 223 in favor of one 6mmBRA barrel. Then buy components with the extra money. Since you reload you can load lighter bullets for varmints and barricade, then heavier bullets for distance. Pretty amazing what these little cartridges will do! Current BR record 5 shot...

Thoughts On a Training Tool For Kids

We got the trigger on my friends 6fpe(7.9gr at 600fps) CZ200 down to a 10oz single stage. His back is ruined so it's the only rifle he can shoot offhand without it hurting him and yes the quality is much better than the Fortitude. The 6fpe rifle is the way to go for kids because the shot count...

Thoughts On a Training Tool For Kids

The PCP idea is perfect for starting off kids that young! Accident happens all involved are likely to survive. I recommend a CZ200 type. I think Daisy has a rebranded version. Lots of advantages to pcp's, utmost for training is a tin of 500 pellets is 8-15 dollars depending on what quality...

Is it worth keeping a 308 around?

God has a sense of humor because I just flat out don't like 308 but I have two in the safe somehow, lol! One is a fancy heirloom I inherited from my Dad, which is a 1970 Sako FinnWolf lever gun that he had a german gunsmith fit a fancy walnut stock to. I have 20 rounds through it. The other is...

    SH handgun Dot Torture challenge

I went to the eye doctor about a year ago and he said I didn't have a astigmatism and that my eyes were in good shape except I needed a new prescription??? It sure doesn't seem that way to me?? Maybe when I get a RD/reflex mounted up I'll make another appointment and ask if I can bring my RD...

    SH handgun Dot Torture challenge

What cracks me up is that I get nervous and shaky because I know I'm going to post the pics here and I don't want to miss! If I were relaxed and didn't care I would group the shots in better. I went to a steel match recently because I thought maybe I could win it and brought my STI 2011 in 40...

    Recommendations for a .22 Pistol

At Shot Show TANDEMKROSS had a great aftermarket trigger for the S&W Victory, it had the best trigger feel compared to Ruger and Buckmark. For that alone I'd get the S&W, it was like the trigger on my Benelli MP95 which is a expensive target grade rimfire pistol.
