Re: .223 dies Just spend the extra few dollars on the redding comp seating die. You wont regret it. It pays for itself in just saving the time and frustration of adjusting the seating depth of different bullets.
Re: Ball Powder for 223 ?? Was talking with the guys from JP Ent. the other day and John was saying he is getting good results with Ramshot Tac with 77's. YMMV
Re: Best Dies for Gas Gun? You don't need small base dies for an AR as long as you have them adjusted properly and a good case/headspace gauge. You may even want to see if Krieger has a gauge cut with the same reamer they used for your barrel. I have been using Dillon .223 dies with a...
Re: McRee MP-MODSS or Accuracy International Everything runngun said. Plus McRee is a great company. I bought a used Rem700 stock only to find out it doesn't fit my GA Templar action. Called McRee to find out whats up and he agreed to send me the correct center section at no charge...
Re: What brass to use for +p+ type loads in 9mm A lot of the guys I shoot with shoot 9 major in their open guns. These loads are definitely not safe in regular 9mm factory pistols. Be careful and work up a load slowly. Pistols are not fun when they kaboom.

Re: 2 Progressive Press Questions I dont think anyone mentioned it, but the auto indexing of the 650 tends to reduce double powder charges if you are reloading pistol calibers. Most double charges happen when someone gets distracted and forgets to index the shell plate on a manual press...
Re: What brass to use for +p+ type loads in 9mm What are you shooting it out of? Make sure your pistol has a fully supported chamber or you may get a case rupture.
Re: help barrel will not clean Just shoot the darn thing. it doesn't need to be spotless. Shoot a few hundred rounds and clean it. If you have a good load, it will work fine clean or dirty.
Re: Crazy idea for using different powders Hodgdon load database lists 3.1grs of Titegroup for .223 @ 1064fps. Won't cycle an AR and I have NEVER tested this. http://data.hodgdon.com Bullet Weight (Gr.) Manufacturer Powder Bullet Diam. C.O.L. Grs. Vel. (ft/s) Pressure Grs...
So I'm trying to figure out which settings I need to use for the Atmosphere section for iPhone Ballistic and JBM. If I'm reading station pressure off my Kestrel, what do I enter into Ballistic and JBM for altitude? I'm guessing 0. Also, for Ballistic the Standardize Pressure needs to be set...
