    .223 dies

Re: .223 dies Just spend the extra few dollars on the redding comp seating die. You wont regret it. It pays for itself in just saving the time and frustration of adjusting the seating depth of different bullets.

    Best Dies for Gas Gun?

Re: Best Dies for Gas Gun? You don't need small base dies for an AR as long as you have them adjusted properly and a good case/headspace gauge. You may even want to see if Krieger has a gauge cut with the same reamer they used for your barrel. I have been using Dillon .223 dies with a...

What brass to use for +p+ type loads in 9mm

Re: What brass to use for +p+ type loads in 9mm A lot of the guys I shoot with shoot 9 major in their open guns. These loads are definitely not safe in regular 9mm factory pistols. Be careful and work up a load slowly. Pistols are not fun when they kaboom.

    .45 progressive press reccomendation?

Re: .45 progressive press reccomendation? Go with the Dillon 650 and never look back. The Dillon is warrantied for life and they will replace just about anything on the machine if it breaks for free.

    2 Progressive Press Questions

Re: 2 Progressive Press Questions I dont think anyone mentioned it, but the auto indexing of the 650 tends to reduce double powder charges if you are reloading pistol calibers. Most double charges happen when someone gets distracted and forgets to index the shell plate on a manual press...

    Range Report iPhone Ballistic Question

So I'm trying to figure out which settings I need to use for the Atmosphere section for iPhone Ballistic and JBM. If I'm reading station pressure off my Kestrel, what do I enter into Ballistic and JBM for altitude? I'm guessing 0. Also, for Ballistic the Standardize Pressure needs to be set...

Range Report Steel Targets AR500- NOT!

Re: Steel Targets AR500- NOT! It was probably T1 or something else, not real AR500. Also be careful on how its cut. Flame and plasma cutting will soften the target around the area being cut. All the MGM targets are laser cut minimize heat transfer into the target. I have a MGM BC target...

Re: It's Nuclear Powered! Can someone explain the process on how these things work? I've read the articles and tried the mfgr's website (all I get is some weird game site) but nothing explains how it works. How does it work? How do you adjust it? Whats the process for throwing a charge? Thanks

I know this is a rifle forum but....

Re: I know this is a rifle forum but.... Titegroup, N320 or WST are all popular. Titegroup is not as volume sensitive as some other powders so its a bit more consistent if you are using mixed brass. It also tends to burn a bit hotter than other powders and makes the gun very hot if you...

.308 168 AMAX and Vihtavuori Powders?

Anyone using this combo? I want to save whats left of my Varget for the 175 SMK's, so I'm thinking of using Vhita for the 168 AMAX's. Not sure which one to go with though, N140 or N150. I've read a few other people here are using N150 as a Varget replacement.
