    That’s a horrible idea. It won’t be near rigid enough to machine it clean, and if it grabs you could ruin the action. Find someone with a mill.

    Interesting take, but swing and a miss. I’m not near as old as most here. The majority of my kids still live with me and all of them show me plenty of love. What I’m striving for and building now will go to them.

    I run Rearden mounts with various muzzle devices. I've been happy with Comstock Armory flash hiders, and FPM Gunworks makes a great, cheap one port brake to use as a sacrificial baffle. Never had any come loose or any carbon on the threads.

    I hand load 100gr ELD-VT’s, and have no problem hitting the 10” plate at 830 yards. The 120’s should do just fine if your barrel likes them.
