My brother (Skeletor) is running a 24" 22 Creed. It looks really short because it's a Desert Tech SRS (bullpup). I'm running a 22" 6 Creed AR10.

Often what's left out, or at least glossed over in these discussions is bullet selection. To me, it can be more important than cartridge selection. Yes, every bullet will kill, but some do it much quicker than others. I've absolutely crushed coyotes with a 16" 223 shooting the 50 grain v-max...

@6brshooter I think the 95 SMK is just not for you. I would pick a shorter / lighter bullet. And I wouldn't worry so much about getting close to the lands. I'm jumping the 75 ELDM a mile and it hammers.

Was out Friday night. Did 4 sets and called in a single on 3 of them, all with howls and other coyote vocals. Only killed one because my hunting buddies are... a bit green yet.

I had a similar experience last week here in SE ND, where it's also been unusually warm. First set I did 3 different howls and had 3 yotes come in a hurry. Buddy messed it up, but that's a different story. I thought I had it figured out. We did 3 more sets and had yotes howling on every set...

With my 6.5 Creed DTA I'm getting 3017 fps with a 26" barrel using the 140 ELDM and RL26. I'm pretty sure that's a bit hot, but I'm not seeing any noticeable pressure signs. It is a little tough to get 47 grains in a Lapua case with room for a bullet though.
