    6mm max

Most of the guys with the clogged gas tubes were competitors running factory ammo, many were suppressed with longer than typical gas systems as well. (maybe some running handloads with Lever, I didn't poll everyone who reported the issues) The factory powder is not only dirty, but based on...

Good luck on the first match with that setup.

But for Quickload calculations, you use a fired case, with the spent primer still in it. (Page 64 of the latest QL manual I have downloaded, which also states "cold water", which is why I noted the water temp I use, which actually understates the case volume. I allow the water from a tap to sit...

Pretty close, depends on chamber and brass brands. That was Hornady 6mm ARC stamped brass, using the actual average of measured fired cases where the length was close to the 1.48" trim length, average case weight 114.7, average water capacity 34.8 grains. Several cases were 1.49"+ after firing...

I don't think my comment was misleading as I referred to the numbers as "estimated", numerous details were not provided to make any sort of true analysis. Garbage in equals garbage out. Even noted the chrono data does not match up, and I selected only the last to use to this estimate. And based...

The previous chrono data you posted of the OCW testing does not line up with the 2718 fps of this post, but calibrated to the 2718 fps, pressure is estimated over 57K. (Without calibrating to actual velocity, the estimated velocity was lower, and the pressure was just under 54K, so between 54K...

C-Products Duramags are getting good reviews. The e-lander mags work good, but limited cartridge length more than Duramags

    New 6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge

Agreed. In the case of a standard 6mm ARC (AR15) reamer versus a Grinch/Fat Rat/Turbo40 (AR15) reamer, the cartridges lengths are for the most part similar. The 6mm ARC case is 0.030" shorter, and for a 108ELD, you lose 0.116 grains of water capacity per 0.01" the bullet is seated deeper, so the...

More powder, higher velocity, OR lower pressure at the same velocity. It calculates out to somewhere around 5,000psi lower chamber pressure compared to the same velocity in a 6mm ARC. Downside- The fire forming brass is an extra step.

The 6mm Grinch is very similar to the 6mmAR Turbo 40 and the 6mm Fat Rat. Improved Grendel case with shoulder blown forward. Has about 3 grain more water capacity than the 6mm ARC.

Pretty much specifically a suppressor setup.

    Bipod on round hand guard.

Nordic makes direct mount. But I have no idea if the hole spacing would match up. https://www.opticsplanet.com/nordic-components-picatinny-rails.html?_iv_code=2OX-T8-NCPCTNYR-TRL-NC1-300

Obviously AA brass was made by Lapua, but now is made by Hornady. This is Hornady shot in an over chamfered chamber. The Lapua bulged, Hornady just leaves a line. Similar load, case capacity are different so not exact same load. If your chamfer is spot on even Lapua can be pushed (a bit), but...

I had looked at a sizer I believe was called a "rollsizer" but there was no Grendel size option at the time.

The bulged cases are mine, 6.5 Grendel necked to 6 Grendel, not 6mm ARC. I added the photo to show the "belted magnum" issue. They are Lapua from an unpublished brass research project. The cross section image was taken by my partner in the project, who had access to a better method of cutting.
