I use the Accurate Mag 3.850" mag in my LA Bravo (ultra-mag). I must have gotten lucky, plopped right in and feeds just fine. Still, good info to keep in the back of my head. t
So are both of mine, they work just fine. Not that there's anything wrong with MILs, just my preference. There's nothing wrong with having him grab a Tikka in 6.5 or 308, either one is quite capable. Now 6.5PRC.... yes, please. t
I'll put in another vote for the 127LRX in your 6.5. Even with a stubby, you should be able to crank them up to a respectable velocity. I've killed a lot of critters with Barnes bullets & "guided" a lot more. At the ranges stated, I can't think of anything that will work better. t
I really like the Meopta Optika 6 3-18x. The Burris XTR II you noted is a really decent scope, very durable. But there is a good number of reports of gents getting them with sub par glass. I've been told this has been fixed...? For the money, i'd pick up a Burris XTR III 3.3-18 in MOA...
That wait time sucks, hopefully it was a fluke. My OG XTR elevation turret wore out to the point it would actually rotate under recoil. I had it back, repaired, in about 2wks. t
I really like my Atlas & have had great luck with it, but I will admit that I haven't used an Accu-Tac. I don't see anything in your lineup that I would avoid. If it were me, I'd try to put my hands on all of them & see which has the features & adjustments that fit my needs. t
