    Marlins with Dovetails

    Re: Marlins with Dovetails I used some steel Millet Angle-Locs on my 880SQ for a while. I never had a problem with them shifting at all. I only took them off because I'm selling the rifle. They are going on a Lakewood MKII project I'm working on next. I'm perfectly happy with them.

    Re: cutting a barrel? I would say if you don't mind trying, go for it. Figure out what length you want the barrel. Cut it an inch longer than that in case you mess up. You can buy the tools to recrown online for about what it would cost to have it cut by a smith. Some of the guys on...
