Re: Vortex PST 2.5-10x44mm Review What would the effect of not having a parallax adjustment be on long range shooting. I have not used a scope that did not have one. I figure i could answer my own question by shooting various distance with out using the parallax on my scope, but can't shoot...
I am moving to the Phoenix area and am looking for a gunsmith. I have been getting parts for a 284 win build. Don't have the time with work to complete in the timeframe I need. Anyone know of a good gunsmith for Savage actions?

Re: NO snow in Florida If you worry about gators it messes up your nature point of aim. Besides I am too bitter for gators to eat me. They typically let go after the first bite.
Just to aggravate the folks that are snowed in this weekend. Here's a picture of me shooting this afternoon. 50 degrees an a brisk 20 to 30 mph breeze.
Re: Stainless Barrel on Blued action Thanks guys. I am a function over form person therefore not worried about looks. I plan on ceracoating the barreled action anyway.
Will putting a stainless barrel on a blued action induce corrision because of the dissimilar metal interaction? The action is a savage long action with carbon steel (or chrome moly) barrel nut.
Re: Why MIL/MIL not MOA/MOA? My understanding is you want your reticle to match your turret adjustment. It speeds up your ability to adjust your shot based on the impact point.
