Anyone have an issue with difficulty feeding unless the magazine is pushed upward into the rifle?
On mine it is very difficult to feed a round unless I have upward pressure on the magazine.
I'ts a 308 kit, shooting 168 SMKs, and I tried with two magazines. Same issue.
I don't know all of your answers, but:
Type 07 FFL is manufacturer of firearms excluding destructive devices
Type 06 FFL is for manufacturer of ammunition.
Two different FFLs.
ITAR is required for manufacturer whether they make title 2 weapons or not. If you want to operate an 07 FFL, you...
Where do I find these sleepy bullets? Mine always start wandering off further and further as the distance goes up. Maybe its because I'm shooting a little 308 and they get bored on their slow journey way out there, and start wandering off in a fit of A.D.D.? I'll have to see if the same...
If the owner of the company says no, I'd stick with that. Especially since he gets to decide on warranty gray areas.
I do the "snap" method and it works great on all of my stuff. I get it until it is just tight, then with one had on the gun and one on the can I loosen it up about 1/8 turn...
Not necessarily, it will still open up some to roughly 1600 or so, but as you go down, it will open less and less.
However... looking at the ballistics, either should be good to go even from your 18.5 at 300 yards.
Now, the age old question on hunting rounds.... what do you want the bullet...
A month ago I was wondering the same thing myself... and the first things I sold here were a spuhr and a S&B. So starting out with big ticket items I was worried about two things:
1. Am I going to get a fake MO, or some sort of scammed payment?
2. Is anyone going to trust a new guy like me...
Lilja Are top notch for sure. If you chop off a few inches, expect to open up the gas port too. Not a huge deal... But something to plan for.
But an 18" RL lilja will do it's job if you can do yours... No question about it.
I shoot a 24" BHW bull on my 6.5 grendel. Its an awesome stick. It did take a little playing, needed a bit more gas than it gave originally. But it shoots lights out for sure.
If it were me, I would steer away from a rifle length gas system on a 16" parts build. There is awful little gas time (12" gas port on a 16" barrel) to know it will be reliable out of the box. If you buy one pre-built, that is one thing as they will have tuned the gas already, if you build it...
I just ran one on Tuesday, the option for individual was grayed out, and you couldn't select it. Legal entity was available, (trust, LLC, corp). Maybe it is a feature they are testing and turning on/off on occasion? I dunno?
