Help Spec'ing out a New Macbook Pro

I don't blame you for wanting to deck it out, if I had the money at the time I would have done the same although the one I got turned out to be so much faster than anything I've used I probably would have never noticed...but I'm also not doing a ton of video editing. There will be a little bit...

Help Spec'ing out a New Macbook Pro

After years of using PCs we have two MacBooks now and will NEVER buy another PC. I'm typing on basically the computer you are looking at. 13.3" with Retina display. I have the preconfigured model with 256 GB SSD, 8 GB RAM and 2.4 GHz processor. I got a smoking deal on it at Best Buy and...

Hunting & Fishing Got drawn for elk! Help me choose a caliber!

I have taken a LOT of game with Accubond bullets, (antelope, deer, elk, mountain goat). I've never been disappointed with the performance of them, the only thing disappointing is their price tag...

Hunting & Fishing Got drawn for elk! Help me choose a caliber!

The 7saum is plenty, even the .260 would be OK. I've killed 6 elk with a .270 WSM shooting 140 gr. Accubonds from 20 to 420 yards. Heck, my wife killed a 6x6 in 2012 with a .25-06 at 310 yds with a 115 gr. Partition. Shot placement goes farther than flinging bigger, faster, heavier lead IMO...

    Yeti VS. Pelican

Both are certified bear proof (important for those of use who play in areas with food storage requirements). I've used the Yetis at work and I bought a Pelican at Costco. I prefer the latches on the Pelican.

Has anyone had a similar problem with dehydration or am I wrong in my self diagnosis?

Does it happen at night most of the time? I had similar back pain off and on for a couple years before I had my first full fledged gall bladder attack due to a gall stone.

    Troy Industries Hiring Follies

Never heard of Weis but having grown up in North Idaho I'm very familiar with (and have strong feelings about) those involved with the Ruby Ridge setup. I can't imagine what Troy Industries is thinking hiring these people. The Hiring Follies of Troy Industries | The Bang Switch

Hunting & Fishing Getting into predator hunting....

Skip the foxpro and get a hand call or two. I like Crit'r Calls. Play the wind, minimize movement when on a stand, and be sneaky walking into a stand...coyotes are smart.

POLL - Most COMPLETE ballistics app

I've used shooter for about a year now and been very happy with it. Been shooting out to about 900 yards with it and results have been very good after I check the results in the field and fine tuned the variables.

Hunting & Fishing 2013 Montana Elk

I hear ya about N. Idaho. That's where I grew up. Hunting has sure changed there.

Hunting & Fishing Another hunting death

You're wrong if you think that your having ND's is any indicator of me having an ND. Sounds like you don't have a good grasp of safe weapons handling for all your vast experience.

Hunting & Fishing 2013 Montana Elk

BARichardson, We had the 410 tag in the Missouri Rivers breaks. It's a draw only unit and VERY hard to draw (just over 1% chance I think for the 55 rifle tags they give out), we were blessed and drew without waiting for a decade or two like most that draw do. The elk population seems to be...

Hunting & Fishing Another hunting death

By this line of thought everyone who concealed carries is "about due for an ND". Proper weapons handling is not complacency, it's proper weapons handling. Do you have a lot ND's when handling firearms?

    What the F#CK!? LOL !?

They also believe in witches and people who can shape-shift into animals. ANY education will make that comical, much the way stroking another guy's cock is.
