Perhaps I'll make a video of my own... Talk about tight fitting handles! Sometimes wiggling isn't enough. The manual does support hitting the handle with a plastic hammer if it won't slide off, btw. I improvised a little but it worked out. Thanks to all that offered assistance.
Perhaps I'm missing something. Here's my bolt: So as you can see, I've got my Allen key in place and can move the tab back into the small detent. Does the size of the Allen key matter? Should I use the thinnest one that'll provide the leverage necessary to turn the firing pin or the thickest...
John, I may have exaggerated the commonality of folks that had difficulty installing your bolt handle...I recall two such instances in this thread. It wasn't meant to be a criticism of your product. I'll take a tight fitting handle that's a bit of a challenge to install over a sloppy fitting...
Thanks but I've watched all the videos and it's not budging. I dripped some Kroil into joint but it's still stuck. Next I'm thinking heat/cold then jackhammer.
Anyone else have trouble removing the factory bolt from the dovetail joint? I've got the firing pin rotated in the correct position to relieve the spring tension but the handle isn't sliding out nor does it wiggle any. I'm tempted to whack it with a punch but thought I should ask first before...
What height base are those with a 223 using? 0 MOA? 20? I plan to shoot at 200 yards or less primarily but if I get an opportunity to get to the 1000 yard range I'm going to need the elevation as I'm using a FCH reticle and I'm limited to 70 MOA elevation. I don't want to compromise my...
Has anyone had a good or bad experience with the Tactical Trigger Spring upgrade? I know there are plenty of happy Yo Dave Trigger Spring fans but I'm having trouble stomaching the $9 shipping charge on a $10 purchase.
Just a heads up...The metallic factory bolt shrouds are back in stock at the Beretta online store. They're on sale for $25 shipped. http://www.berettausa.com/en-us/t3x-...oud/s54065177/
Thanks for posting. What rings and rail are you using and what kind of clearance do you have? Also, are you happy with 25x at 100 to 200 yards? Or do you think you would like more magnification?
Anyone running an objective lens larger than 50mm? I'm trying to decide between a 6-24x50mm and 8-32x56mm SFP for a benchrest rifle based on a Tikka T3X Varmint .223.
Is everyone installing a picatinny rail for their scope mount? Could someone please explain the benefit of mounting your rings to a rail instead of mounting directly to the receiver using the integrated dovetail grooves? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
