    Me andy buddies definitely don't mind camping. It looks like the Alabama precision match is the closest to me and most feasible. Ive got load development to do on my HMR and I need a bag or 2 yet. The goal will be to make one before the end of the year.

    I have the fv sr in the 16" barrel with the Boyds tacticool stock. I love it. As for shortening the barrel I am not sure. Why not look into buying a factory 16" barrel that is already threaded?
