    Good looking set up there. I have a Branham rail on mine now and it doesn't quite get out there far enough. I shoot 3 gun in another state and I don't want to file paperwork every month just to take it there. This might be an option for me. I have a SOCOM 7.62 Mini in ATF jail right now.

    Since this keeps coming up I guess everyone wants more updates. I have a SCAR 17 with a Steiner 4-16 in a Borbo dual throw lever mount. Best group so far is .7MOA at 100 with a 5 round group. It has hit 4" plates at 500 yards consistently.

    What an old thread! Ultimately I ended up with a SCAR 17 and I couldn't be happier. I bought a .308 heavy barrel DPMS and it was just too much. Sold that to fund the (now two) SCARs. Now I have a Steiner 4-16 waiting to get put on it.

    Silencership emailed me that they got in the 7.62 Socom mini can I was looking for. 5 months after they expected it in. Glad I spent an extra $50 and went with someone else 4 months ago.
