I think I'm just going to snag one up. Screw it, it's hard to beat the price point for the quality that I've heard/read about. If I don't like it, I'll put it on the hide for someone else to enjoy.
Good to go. Thanks. I have a night force 5.5-22 on my custom .260 with a npr1, that reticle is thin as well. So I hear ya. I think I'm going to snag one up and give it a try. If I don't like, you'll see it in the "for sale" section in a week or so after I receive it.
Appreciate it... I got the rifle because I wanted to bridge the gap between CQB and range (when I say range with a 5.56 I mean nothing past 500). So I was thinking the 1-4 would be perfect with out spending money I don't have on a 1-8 or something to that affect.
Does anyone have any comments? Bitches etc... I used the search and couldn't find anything specific. I'm mounting it on a HCS RECCE upper on a Noveske non-chainsaw lower. Glass, retical, turrets etc... I'm either getting this optic or a leupold mk4 1.5-5. Your insight is appreciated.
This really is a harder decision than I thought. I love noveske's barrel life, who wouldn't. That alone may be what tips the scale. I need to do a little more research and decide from there.
I think the title says it all... I'm having a very hard time trying to decide between the High Caliber Sales recce rifle and a Noveske (probably rogue hunter) and would very much like your thoughts.
I don't know enough about it to ask specific questions really. To my understanding, all AR's for the most part are pretty much built the same. I could be wrong... that's just my assumption. What velocity are you getting out of your rifle shooting a 77 grain bullet? And what range do you shoot...
Does anyone have any experience with this weapon system? I currently have a custom built .260 that I have no time to drive three hours to shoot it and sadly it just sits there. So I'm seriously thinking about "trading down" so to speak... Your input is greatly appreciated.
Re: LMT vs OBR vs POF/GAP-10 I was leaning a little more toward the OBR. But the "anus" pounding as someone eloquently put it was a little too much with the market right now. I have seen them advertised to sell for 10K right now. (You're out of your mind!) I can do a 4-5 month wait on a build...
