    Maybe I got lucky, but It took less than a week to get a 10 round mag from them and it functions in my Surgeon bottom metal without a problem.

    I have been shooting a 30-06 so long I guess I had not noticed it was no longer popular. My mountain rifle is a late 40s FN Mauser. It currently has a #3 Lilja 1-11 3 groove, a McMillan stock, and a Timney trigger. Launching Berger 185s it packs well and kills with authority.

    Almost forgot. I work mine in very dusty conditions. When it is time to clean, I blow them out with a little compressed air, then lighter fluid, and then air again. No problems. Timney or Jewel.

    I know a few people who have them, and I have an older tang style M77. Timney has a trigger for that gun but it will need to be fitted.     Recoil always matters, less is best. Even the magnums are not magic if you hit them in the wrong spot. My 30-06 has killed everything you are about to hunt.
