    Bore patches absolutely will not come out clean :-(

    What seems to make the most difference between my rifles is whether the bore is lapped of production. My Bartleins clean up with Hoppes and a couple of patches on a jag. The AAC SD takes a little more work.

    Does this help http://www.aloris.com/catalog/aloris_p2-3.pdf I measured a tool holder. 0.445 from the base to the bottom of the tool holding slot. This would be the lowest possible setting height for the tool.

    I say maybe. It's just dynamics of deformable bodies. A MTU contour barrel and a titanium can shouldn't change much. I think you need to do OCW for both.

    Will the Butler Creek Bikini scope cover as shown here fit the objective on a PST 6-24 X 50. Does anyone know if the length is OK. General quality? I can't use the Vortex scope cover b/c the gap between barrel and OB bell is too narrow for the big thick cap.
