What seems to make the most difference between my rifles is whether the bore is lapped of production. My Bartleins clean up with Hoppes and a couple of patches on a jag. The AAC SD takes a little more work.
Now I'm not sure which Aloris size I gave you the dimension for. Got mine from Grizzly series 100 (G5689) which is their smallest for lathes up to 10" I have a Logan 400 9"

I say maybe. It's just dynamics of deformable bodies. A MTU contour barrel and a titanium can shouldn't change much. I think you need to do OCW for both.

Will the Butler Creek Bikini scope cover as shown here fit the objective on a PST 6-24 X 50. Does anyone know if the length is OK. General quality? I can't use the Vortex scope cover b/c the gap between barrel and OB bell is too narrow for the big thick cap.
If someone here had a Scanning Electron microscope and could look at alpha brass that has been cold worked and compare the grain size to annealed vs annealed and quenched we'd have an answer. I personally, wasted my money on ammo and Stiller actions so I have no more for cool science toys.
