I guess it depends on your use case and what you are doing. For my uses (primarily hunting) most things that need shot within 2-300 hundred yards are not getting mil'd. Their getting a hold over and shot at 2.5-5 or 6x. Anything that needs more mag or there is a desire to mil it the scope is...
I feel like this already exists in the Nightforce 2.5-10 x 32 and 42. I have a 2.5-10x42 and it is pretty compact and light at 20ozs. No capped turrets but it does have zero stop. Only real possible advantage I can see on the Leupold is FFP. I personally don't seem much need for FFP on...
Kind of looking for a KAC SR15 in either 11.5 pistol or 14.5 or 16 rifle config. Not having a lot of luck finding anything in stock.

I would think that a .30 cal can on a 6 mm would not have that much back pressure but I have no experience with that can. I have a Q Trash Panda in 30 cal to go on mine. I am waiting on cerakote currently so cannot comment on how it runs.
Barrel on mine is a 16 inch proof carbon fiber with...
I have 2 guns with these SCS systems. Yes they quiet down the noise and do make the action feel smoother when racking the gun. I just received a Tubb recoil spring that many have reported will get rid of the spring noise in the buffer tube also.
Figure I will try it for less than 30 bucks...
A loaded mag usually removes 99.9% of the slop anyway, except when the last round from the mag is chambered. Non-issue for me. I have an Armalite that has some slop. I tried the accuwedge and it developed feeding problems with the factory 10 round steel mag as well as PMAG's.
Thanks for updating with the results, this was an interesting read. I am getting ready to build an AR15 myself off of a Seekins forged upper and lower and trying to decide on an accurate barrel for it.
Thanks for the response. I will try to do some more research to see if this needs to be a large shank gun or not. Looking at the case diameter of the SAUM it looks like I would basically be left with a quarter inch wall thickness in the chamber area. Seems a little thin but not sure if it is...
