    Yes, all those blanks are un-contored. I simply buy them that way because everyone wants something different, or there's a weight limit to meet for whatever class or application. So I built an air cylinder follow rest for one of my lathes and contour them as needed per application.

    Ar-50 armalite brakes are 1-14 thread, 1 inch 14 threads per inch. The k&p brakes are typically that thread also, unless it was a custom order. They're quite efficient compared to a round brake.
