Just curious as to why I don't see more mention of Rock River rifles here on The Hide. My first AR was a Rock River and I now have them in several calibers. (I also have other brands, eg. Seekins 6.5, Ray-Vin .17 HMR, And. 6.5GR etc. that I shoot...
I have both a 9mm and .45 Shield, the original versions, and like and shoot them well. I put an Apex trigger in the 9 and appreciate the improvement. I feel they are great carry pistols. I recently got a Sig 365 and have been shooting/carrying it. Even though its smaller with a greater capacity...
I have a Ray-Vin .17HMR AR upper on an RRA lower that I use on prairie dogs (I shoot suppressed) that is quite accurate and reliable. Comes with 14 round mags. It's my "starter" rifle on any new dog town. It's a side charge action which I like.

I have several .22 pistols, of which the CZ Kadet is my favorite for plinking etc., but if I'm going to carry one it is always the S/W 43C Air Frame revolver. It fits in the same Bullard holster as my S/W 340, very light and comfortable, no jams or misfires and very accurate (with practice).
Rifles Only has offered high angle classes in CO in the past during the summer months. I have never been to that particular class, but have been to the PRS1/PRS2 week long class and it was great!
Many years ago it was somewhat popular to use rubber cement to bed both the base/rail to the action as well as the rings. I have used it to bed a rail on a Rem 700 with good success (although it probably wasn't needed). I have never felt the need to bed or use adhesive on my rings but YMMV.
