Before I found this place, federal and remington were my preferred choices. Always got decent results. If I could get down to 1/2" at a hundred I was happy. I rarely shot across a chronograph in those days though. When I got back into a 300winmag again about ten years ago I bought 200 pieces...

But why do their loads work so good in so many different rifles? What do they know that we don't? They're for sure not loading each round with the care that we are. But most factory fodder seems to work in so many different chambers, barrels, twist rates (to a certain degree.) Why ?
