    I'd contact CCI about that. It's possible there was a double charge of primer compound there. Or like mentioned earlier a compromised case.

    That was me trying to take a picatinny rail off a rifle. Only to find out the smith I used to use red locktite on the screws and made a .010" bed of red locktite under the rail.

    I'd like to try the 88's but my Weatherby Obsidian is only 1-8" twist. But the 80gr ELDMs seem to shoot fine out to 800 yards so far.

    All I can say is even at 2700 fps out of my AR the 75gr ELDM accounted for a badger at 496 yards. It hits hard too.

    I was considering a 20 Practical and forgot about it until you mentioned a 204. Yeah a 20 cal might be a better option. But for out to only 300 yards a .223/5.56 with a 53 gr vmax will suffice. Any AR that shoots close to 1 moa will do the job out to 300 yards for a coyote.

    My PSS factory barrel has probably over 10k rounds down it's tube. I'd change the barrel but the family gifted it to me when I got out of the Army in 91. I'd rather have a 1-10" twist barrel but my barrel still shoot good. And there a bit of sentimental value there.

    I opted for a 260 AI rather than the 6.5 CM. I'm old so I'm biased against it lol. It's a fine round I just tired of the ignorant claims around it. Plus I have a ton of 308 win brass so in a pinch I can neck them down to 260 rem or 7-08.
