I tried the water bottle on the 22lr rifle in the kitchen shooting out the door. It didn't even work, plastic bottle came flying off at a high rate of speed and everyone's ears were ringing. I'm still trying to locate a Surefire muzzle brake adapter for water bottles. If one uses a pillow; to 'suppress' the sound, does the pillow in itself become a suppressor?
How about a 2 liter coke bottle; like I've seen on movies?
A paper towel roll with cotton or steel wool?
Is there a 200 dollar tax stamp on bounty's paper towels? there should be...... MORE laws.. all of lifes problems can be solved with more laws.. lol![]()

Ban mental illness. That's how they solved the drug problem back in the 60's.If one uses a pillow; to 'suppress' the sound, does the pillow in itself become a suppressor?

They all got considered a suicide - no matter how many times they were shot, or how long they were in the Clinton crime syndicate.you dont hear about people who got murked by a gun with a suppressor because they were professional and got away with it.
They were having sex with it! Right after a 200 round range trip!Bludgeoned to death?
Uhh, I don't think you get it.
The coke bottle pressurizes and then pops making a loud report of it's demise.
Let alone the full report of whatever weapon you used it on.
It makes whatever you use it on louder than without it.
Leave it on and do a full mag dump it will stick.Speaking of suppressors, no matter how tight I get my suppressor covers, they work loose. Any good tips on getting them better secured?
Don’t be silly. ANYONE knowing revolvers would know that won’t work!!!!Bet it was a suppressed revolver.![]()
The old steel YHM Phantom 7.62 weighed about 10 pounds, you could definitely bludgeon someone to death with that suppressor.
*chuckles in NKVD*Don’t be silly. ANYONE knowing revolvers would know that won’t work!!!!

I heard from this guy I meet at the range that he had a friend who had a cousin who knew a guy that said if you stuff a plastic bottle with cotton then wrap it with duct tape it does make a pretty good 22LR suppresser.I tried the water bottle on the 22lr rifle in the kitchen shooting out the door. It didn't even work, plastic bottle came flying off at a high rate of speed and everyone's ears were ringing. I'm still trying to locate a Surefire muzzle brake adapter for water bottles.
Only if you are of Sicilian extraction and work in sanitation.are they legal/allowed in new jersey?
I was joking but if that’s not overkill then, you’re welcomeCAT Green will hold them on as well.
Thank you,
MrSmith
Plastic solvent bottles, I believe so ......are they legal/allowed in new jersey?
Next version of NJ 'common sense' gun legislation will list partially empty plastic water and soda bottles as illegal 'silencer kits.' Upstanding citizens wishing to avoid the penalty for creating said contraband will be required to relinquish beverages when they have reached 1/2 empty. Failing to do so constitutes constructive intent. No affirmative defense is defined or implied.Plastic solvent bottles, I believe so ......

I tried a plastic Mountain Dew bottle while out around the campfire a few decades ago. The barrel of my Ruger MKII 22/45 Target just barely fit inside the bottle. I cut a notch so it would slide on past the front post and used some electrical tape. First, I made a one layer wrap on the barrel, slid the bottle on and taped it down tight with several wraps.I tried the water bottle on the 22lr rifle in the kitchen shooting out the door. SureNot rockset?
Lol, well playedAs was I. CAT Green is a bit tenacious for mounting a muzzle device of any kind, actually for any use other than specific fasteners exposed to severe vibration and hostile environments. However, I use it regularly, instead of screws, to affix base pads to magazines.
Thank you,
MrSmith
I still have potatoes that work pretty damn well and can alway eat the evidence as ATF jumps over the fence. You can use a banana but its one and done pretty much. Coconuts make the rifle look funny so not a fan.Next version of NJ 'common sense' gun legislation will list partially empty plastic water and soda bottles as illegal 'silencer kits.'
