Murdered with a suppressor…..

Other than the mob I believe you can count the number of people murdered using a weapon with a suppressor over the last 30 years on one hand, it’s just more paranoia over guns. I remember when Hillary said how bad it would have been if the Las Vegas shooter used a suppressor like it would have made any difference from a high rise hotel. If it served their purpose they would say there are roving packs of unmanned firearms roaming the streets shooting bullets that blow your lungs out and set you on fire at the same time.

If one uses a pillow; to 'suppress' the sound, does the pillow in itself become a suppressor?
How about a 2 liter coke bottle; like I've seen on movies?
A paper towel roll with cotton or steel wool?
Is there a 200 dollar tax stamp on bounty's paper towels? there should be...... MORE laws.. all of lifes problems can be solved with more laws.. lol;)

I tried the water bottle on the 22lr rifle in the kitchen shooting out the door. It didn't even work, plastic bottle came flying off at a high rate of speed and everyone's ears were ringing. I'm still trying to locate a Surefire muzzle brake adapter for water bottles.

Subsonic ammo FTW.

Ban mental illness. That's how they solved the drug problem back in the 60's.

Laws against 'murder' aren't a deterrent enough. The simple fact of the matter, is that 'murder' needs to be made "illegaller".

It's for the children.

The old steel YHM Phantom 7.62 weighed about 10 pounds, you could definitely bludgeon someone to death with that suppressor.

So the fact that someone was killed with a suppressed weapon makes it...

More murdery? Less murdery?

Whether I use a sharp stick or a hydrogen bomb, dead is dead and murder is murder.

think he must have mistaken exactly how it works attached to the gun , not down her throat though it did seem to work she is quiet now . finally he can watch the game without distractions .

I heard from this guy I meet at the range that he had a friend who had a cousin who knew a guy that said if you stuff a plastic bottle with cotton then wrap it with duct tape it does make a pretty good 22LR suppresser.;)

Plastic solvent bottles, I believe so ......
Next version of NJ 'common sense' gun legislation will list partially empty plastic water and soda bottles as illegal 'silencer kits.' Upstanding citizens wishing to avoid the penalty for creating said contraband will be required to relinquish beverages when they have reached 1/2 empty. Failing to do so constitutes constructive intent. No affirmative defense is defined or implied.

I was joking but if that’s not overkill then, you’re welcome

As was I. CAT Green is a bit tenacious for mounting a muzzle device of any kind, actually for any use other than specific fasteners exposed to severe vibration and hostile environments. However, I use it regularly, instead of screws, to affix base pads to magazines.

Thank you,

I tried a plastic Mountain Dew bottle while out around the campfire a few decades ago. The barrel of my Ruger MKII 22/45 Target just barely fit inside the bottle. I cut a notch so it would slide on past the front post and used some electrical tape. First, I made a one layer wrap on the barrel, slid the bottle on and taped it down tight with several wraps.
Shooting both eyes open I could pretty accurately aim at whatever. (I have a DeltaPoint on my suppressed 22/45 Mark 3 now.)
First round "fouler" punched the hole in the bottom of the bottle. After that, the bottle was a fairly effective suppressor for several boxes of ammo. It never once flew off the barrel.
I tried it stuffed with toilet paper as that is supposed to decrease report even further. Maybe it did, my ears couldn't tell, but it did 2 other very noticeable things...it made for some erratic groups and it spewed out bits of toilet paper.

Not rockset?
Sure

I still have potatoes that work pretty damn well and can alway eat the evidence as ATF jumps over the fence. You can use a banana but its one and done pretty much. Coconuts make the rifle look funny so not a fan.
