Well, they do have to go home safe to their family. So a high speed chase after four, possibly armed, people? There's more negative outcomes than possible positive ones. Besides, what's another dead guy in Chicago?

They would have released them with no bail anyway and the idiot DA would not have prosecuted. I can’t imagine how frustrating it would be to work as a police officer in Chicago. I not would give a crap except they have some of the worst gun laws, they want more, and they want to export them despite there failure.
