Is something going on in Ukraine?

I saw that about the tanks - unreal!!! I then thought about my neighbor who has nothing but praise for the president of ukraine (or whatever title he now goes by) and how he wishes we had a leader who spoke his mind (we had one by the way....).

People need to quit listening to the neo-neocons and open their eyes. This is 100% about corruption at this point. Nothing to do with Russia invading Ukraine. Nothing to do about history, just plain pure corruption.

Hopefully something useful to the convo. Maybe a little less shrill than the media, who knows.

I would ask: Were there Ukranian nationals already training on these systems, or if they will commence training now? If the later, it takes litteraly at least six months to develop the muscle memory and insights to operate these systems effectively. Or.... these things are going to have American or German crews.

Either way bad shit, and an escalation. Fucking crazy! Imagine Russia feeding T80s or T90s to Cartels in Mexico, or militant groups in Alberta, I think we would fucking nuke their ass. Russia has showed incredible restraint.

If Russia tried to escalate with conventional war... he'd get his clock cleaned by us.

His only hope is to try to keep fighting against our weapons and intelligence in this drawn out war. He'll win by attrition against Ukraine over time while politicians on both sides get filthy rich.

Leopard crews being rounded up for service

Reality of 10th round of conscription in Ukraine ,shit load of vids of men being rounded up for military service .

being a food soldier is bad enough...but being inside a piece of armor makes you the prime target.

I made an exact analogy to a friend of mine...if Russia embedded some "trainers" and supplied Canada or Mexico (forget the cartels or militant Abertians) with surface-to-surface missiles, MANPADS, tanks, F-15's (and AR-14's of course), what the hell would we do? We'd do what Cheney said (paraphrasing) in GW I and/or II: "We reserve the right to use whatever means we have to stop this." Indeed, Russia has focused only on Ukraine at least with hard weapons...I don't know anything about cyber) and we've managed to only lose BILLIONS of dollars in the process - not, that we know of, US Troops.

At what point is the bear going to charge us?

More than anything this war is not like most wars we have seen in past couple of decades , the odds of biting a bullet or more likely artillery fragment are considerable for Ivan and Volodymir on either side the conflict

But the money laundering machine needs more fooder

So has anybody been able to explain where Russias geopolitical interests actually clash with ours that justifies our escalation of this war?
I have not seen it yet. The MSM just has to get the viewers emotionally charged with the big bully story and that's all the general public needs in order to keep this gravy train going. No other narrative required. You even see it here in this forum, how much vitriol there is for Russia and it's Czar.

Budapest security memo signed in the 90s has a lot of effect on the origins of this shitshow. It never should have been drafted in the first place.

I mentioned this in passing to a colleague of mine just yesterday; not by name of the memo, but that the enforcement of said agreement set the stage for this.

Never drafted? As in US will not "threaten or use military force or economic coercion against Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, "except in self-defence or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations." ??????????????????????

Oh but i forgot US does and will threaten to use military force or economic coercion against anyone they deem "a threat". At this point in time considering true nature of the "beast"---> fucking press the button and reset the whole god damn world. And if cucaracha is to be the next ruler so be it...better than the "noman alphabet defined nonperson of the future wef would like to seed"

looks like Russia is livestreaming now.

and a few more lancets taking out targets

brave patriots sent to die uselessly for corrupt warmongers and crooks. tragic.
the people rooting for the nazis love this kind of footage when the dead are russians.

No as in surrendering the nuclear deterrent they inherited after the collapse of the USSR in exchange for “security guarantees “. What you are seeing now are the aforementioned security guarantees.

Speaking of shit that never should have been drafted, Fuck the UN with a Sears power drill & spade bit.

Probably unrelated, but why do we have a U-2 flying laps up and down the Hudson River valley at 60K+ feet?

U-2 track: (flying out of Dobbins, GA)

Flying the same path as a P-3 Orion at 20K feet?

P-3 track: (Goddard, flying out of Wallops VA)

In generally crappy weather?

Are they trying to simulate or test something in conditions and terrain similar to, oh I don't know, Eastern Europe / Ukraine?

Very strange to see the dragon lady in the northeast. Sticks out like a sore thumb.

because after Putin, American conservatives are the biggest enemy of the Soros regime that is ruling from washington. they're just keeping an eye on a particular bunch of some of you.

don't worry though, if you aren't doing anything that the regime finds bothersome, you have nothing to fear. Not like they'll kick in your door and kill your dog, and throw you in political prison, or anything.

The propaganda is thick and the contradictions are hilarious but it is the AP after all.
Uke's retreated from Soledar to preserve life to established defensive position but the strength of the position is not known.
They go on to say that Soledar isn't a strategic place but the Russians could cut off the uke's supply lines to Bakhmut.

And when our Ukrainian driven Afghan abandoned tanks are left smoldering on the battlefield... AP will say "Look! Russian forces are decimated again!"

Challenger 2 uses it's own ammo, parts, manual of arms, manual of repair... for like 16 of them. Is this even worth the effort? Or just a symbolic gesture to push for the Leopards and Abrams?

Leopard tanks were not very impressive in Syria. There will be possibly a few hundred available as NATO donates all it can to keep the "front line" in Eastern Ukraine.

American Abrams... at $8.5M per, will be used and abused and pushed past it's performance envelope with little to no maintenance until it's a disposable piece left on the battlefield just like everything else that has been fielded. Why maintenance or work to preserve equipment when the US will simply send bigger better stuff in time?

I can't substantiate, but I read or heard (can't remember) that the M1s that are to be sent to Ukraine are on order and won't be coming from our current inventory. US gets credit for sending tanks, but the 31 from inventory being shipping soon are to be used for training in Poland or other country not Ukraine. (again, correct me if I'm incorrect)

i think the russians are getting too good at destroying armor that can't move and shoot at the same time.
either way, it is the gradual escalation the war mongers and profiteers want...more dead and destroyed is more money for them.

What I heard was that the Abrams won't be in Ukraine for almost a year

It's not like the uke's will have maintenance teams and parts for them. They couldn't possibly train them to do repairs in a year or operate them.
Since the Marines no longer use tanks there may be a few extra laying around

if we give them shit that they can't operate or fix, we'll just have to send in some consultants to help them...
and aircraft will be next...and so on...

lol. maybe he meant to say "let the seat out another inch".

What a joke these people are. Imagine the delusion of any of these GOPers who try to claim that they never gave an inch on our constitutional rights, or in any way fought for us. We live under a Marxist government now with no free press, no free elections, no free speech, and the gun confiscations are beginning. Do they really think that anyone believes their bluster and bullshit? No, just buy his book, float off to la la land and chuckle at the pithy sayings on how dumb the democrats are, and how they just don't "get it." Then donate more $ to the GOP.

In reality, the GOP has lost every battle in the culture war, and lost badly. Lindsay Graham really is the RINO poster boy because he exemplifies the GOP tradition of getting assraped so often that you start to realize it's happening because they want it to. Do they stand up and talk about an issue because they want to defeat the democrats? No, they do it because they want the democrats to come over and ass rape them again. It's easier to lose and fundraise. Trump was the closest thing since Reagan to a figure who said "stand and fight" and seemed to mean it. and at the end, even he folded under the weight of the massive totalitarian bureaucracy.

Did we get to this point because the NWO is so fantastically organized and funded that nobody can stand against them, or was it because these GOPers were bought like cheap whores that enjoy the roleplay and are just pretending to make a stand so they can laugh at us. They got paid for selling us out, and now we are donating money for the rope that will be used to hang us.
dems mkt and message better. we need better messaging but it's hard because dems are nefarious by nature

USA is already a civilization and a population in decline by intent from an internal Communist cabal. What is losing the flower of their youth going to do to them in this century? Nothing good I assure you.

Fixed that passage.

Bogey man, you mean the child rapist cover story?

The Bogey man was a story created so sick fucks could pass off sneaking into kids rooms... it was just the Bogey man.

We don’t need a pedo cover story to describe our foreign policy.( edit- we should have a realistic view of our neighbors on the planet, not pedo cover stories)
Man you are full on retard

I don’t think the SEAL killed a week or so ago was really AWOL.

"Penicilin"

The Russians are using a passive acoustic location system that operates like the Shotspotter systems used by LE domestically; using a raised beam mounted on mobile platforms that is completely passive giving off no signals

Much harder to find compared to Ukr active radar used to locate Rus pipes

So Ukr radar & artillery positions get hit a lot more; huge R advantage

In some areas (ie Bahmut?) the Ukr pipes are outnumbered 9:1

There is none directly, Ukraine means absolutely fuck all to the west and NATO. Ukraine was means to find a Russian red line and purposefully cross it to trigger a proxy war. If Ukraine didn't work, they would have moved onto somewhere like Georgia.

The US is the most powerful nation on the planet, they obviously saw Russian as a distant threat that needed to be taken down a peg, Obama directly said as much years ago. Pity China is allowed free reign but retards gonna retard.

You ever hear about soldiers in the British SAS retiring and going on holiday to Pakistan during the Solviet-Afghan war? The Taliban magically gained the ability to shoot down helicopters and oddly enough when those now civilian decided retirement wasn't for them, the SAS accepted them back.

U2 is on its way back to Georgia

Maybe testing out some new gear for controlling the battle space? I'm guessing we've kept our high altitude assets out of Ukraine so far, maybe we 0pan to give them some "surplus" Global Hawks or U2's to fly in-country?

We're gonna need more advisors...

Saudi Arabia has lost more M1A2 tanks to Houthi rebels than the Turkish Leopard 2A4 that ISIS destroyed. Tanks that are used stupidly are very likely to get destroyed no matter where they come from.

I remember reading that they had some serious weaknesses. As well some Leopards got wasted fairly easily in Turkey during the attempted coup de' ta. Would be interesting to find out what the deal is, or if that's actually real.

On another point, I am just guessing that this war is Ai driven, meaning all weaknesses, all mistakes, all victories, topography, weather, weapon systems, troop movement, all intel, etc...etc.. are fed into an Ai and that Ai is driving the war. This is probably Western Ai vs Eastern Ai. It would be fascinating to take a dive into how those systems work.
