Not many places in Ohio that elites can play like they can in Ukraine . Imagine what would happen if some old man was in the park sniffing, smelling and touching children the police would arrest him unless if he had a potus get out of jail free card.
The funny thing is that folks will claim sabotage or enemy agents, etc.
But having just come back from a cross-country drive... here are some observations.
Hotels I stayed at... shit was broken. Stuff did not work. From the waffle makers to stuff in the rooms (one place had to get three different rooms because the heater/ac didn't work in the first 2. One the door thingie swipe card... didn't work.
EVERY gas station I went into had broken pumps. One, I had to move three times to find a working pump. One had the front broken open on it. At some places, it appeared 1/4 of the pumps did not work or had a 'cover' on them.
Getting through a Wendy's Drive Through takes 20 minutes... I can get get a steak in that time... with trimmings. Retards behind the counters.
So basically, our infrastructure... not the governement one, but the commercial one... is a fucking mess. Noone cares. Noone wants to work. Noone is handling MRO and MTBF is now... run to failure. Retards who have no business in their 'jobs' are there because they have tits or melanin or are fags. Not because they are the best at what they do.
What's causing trains to blow up and metal plants to explode and people to die of all kinds of nasty shit? Incompetence. Laziness. Lack of capability. Not spending money to fix stuff. Not knowing that you HAVE to spend money to fix stuff.
That gauge is in the red? Meh, not my job. Hey, isn't a needle in the red a style thing?
So expect more of this. But don't expect it to be a conspiracy when simple incompetence and lazyness will do.

Simply punching the Like button on this post wasn't enough. Spot fucking on.
It is also the people at the top, cutting, cutting, cutting. Not paying a reasonable wage, the execs keeping the money for themselves. Ex., the drain derailment, maintenance was cut back and cut back, until it was inadequate. Not the inspectors fault, nor the mechanics, just the greedy ones at the top.
I will say Bedford is very strict and a well funded city. I grew up there and tried to start a shop right around the corner from this. The inspectors never let me open. Bedford is not a podunk town. The greater cleveland area is basically one big metropolis with most people living in the suburbs within 30 min of downtown. Not saying this place wasnt in disrepair as the city of bedford and its neighbor walton hills are known for their corruption and bribery.
Ohio seems to have drawn the very short straw this year.

Similar experiences traveling through five states last week. Stopped at two Cracker Barrels in one day and neither got our orders correct. Made a pit stop in a rural area on I75. Restrooms at the only two businesses in sight of the exit were out of order. Hotels were "okay." At least clean. Had to hit three different floors to find a working ice machine at the Marriot in Chatanooga.
Most just agreed it was a top-down problem, but now, suddenly, it's just the 'top'?! Sounds like the union position.

Sounds like top to bottom issues. Seemingly few people truly give a shit about doing their job right anymore. And that's just the ones that are actually showing up for work.

I was talking to the job rep from a chemical plant I'm currently working in the other day. He said they had been going over operations incidents from the last 20 years or so including explosions, fires, leaks/spills and other major uh oh's and the trend was interesting. 2000-2009 there were roughly 40 incidents within the company globally. 09-19 it was over 130, 18-current it was over 300.
I think incompetence is playing a major role. If people can't look it up on Google to tell them how to do it they are lost.
That trend has shifted their hiring more towards people already working in the plant facilities that are familiar with the plant rather than hiring kids out of college.
Again, Brandon just rewarded the unions with a $23 an hour raise. How much would these union boys need to get before they were willing to do a responsible job? Many aren't the least bit interested in anything buy the paycheck.

It's the beginning of the breakdown of complex systems. I would argue it's less laziness and more likely incompetence. Our education system turns out mostly illiterate, un thinking, untrainable social justice warriors. The systems in place now won't be repairable when they break because those who once knew how are dead or gone. Google and YouTube will fill in the knowledge gap for awhile but its going to continue to get worse.
On the plus side, if you have a core of competent people and you want to start a business you can make money hand over fist. There is a huge market for people with expertise in several disciplines.

America spent the last 30-40 years killing the blue collar industry. Shipping jobs overseas, driving wages into the dirt, getting rid of ROP type programs at schools, companies have gotten rid of paid internships/training, no more retirements, schools cater to the lowest common denominator (35% grade reading level is the norm). It's gonna take generations to unfuck this if it's even possible.

First 11 years of my life we were involved in war. Then 3.5 years of relative peace... well, except in Angola and Africa. Oh and Cambodia... where the Vietnamese finally had to go to war to deal with Pol Pot. So there were those wars on TV. Then we had Afghanistan Soviet invasion which I remember watching happen 'live' on CBS. It was a week before Christmas IIRC... I was building a model kit! Of course then we also had the Iran Iraq War. Then Grenada and Beirut and the Falklands. Watched those, too. Then much of a decade in Central America... chasing commies who are now our Senators and running the DNC. Followed by Panama, Gulf, Mog, Balkans, and, technically, the beginnings of GWOT with Lockerbie, Dar Es Salaam and Nairobi and USS Cole and Kovar Towers. Then, of course, 911 and Iraq and now the Ukraine show... And do the Narco Wars along the Mex border count?

By definition, casualty includes serious injury. I wouldn't want to be any of those 14 burn victims.
