"Mass Casualty" Explosion at Bedford,Ohio Metal Plant

Well I’m shocked the self-regulation hasn’t prevented all of this.

I’m sure all the people at fault were there simply because of affirmative action and nothing to do with corporate neglect.

The funny thing is that folks will claim sabotage or enemy agents, etc.

But having just come back from a cross-country drive... here are some observations.

Hotels I stayed at... shit was broken. Stuff did not work. From the waffle makers to stuff in the rooms (one place had to get three different rooms because the heater/ac didn't work in the first 2. One the door thingie swipe card... didn't work.

EVERY gas station I went into had broken pumps. One, I had to move three times to find a working pump. One had the front broken open on it. At some places, it appeared 1/4 of the pumps did not work or had a 'cover' on them.

Getting through a Wendy's Drive Through takes 20 minutes... I can get get a steak in that time... with trimmings. Retards behind the counters.

So basically, our infrastructure... not the governement one, but the commercial one... is a fucking mess. Noone cares. Noone wants to work. Noone is handling MRO and MTBF is now... run to failure. Retards who have no business in their 'jobs' are there because they have tits or melanin or are fags. Not because they are the best at what they do.

What's causing trains to blow up and metal plants to explode and people to die of all kinds of nasty shit? Incompetence. Laziness. Lack of capability. Not spending money to fix stuff. Not knowing that you HAVE to spend money to fix stuff.

That gauge is in the red? Meh, not my job. Hey, isn't a needle in the red a style thing?

So expect more of this. But don't expect it to be a conspiracy when simple incompetence and lazyness will do.

Sirhr

Couldn't have said it better, spot on.

Again, Brandon just rewarded the unions with a $23 an hour raise. How much would these union boys need to get before they were willing to do a responsible job? Many aren't the least bit interested in anything buy the paycheck.
Still waiting for your reference of where to find this $23/hour raise. Seriously, show us the documentation proving this. Until then (and after because I first hand know you're wrong), you're full of shit.

The only thing potato did for the rail unions was block their right to strike, period.

I was wondering when you would show up and hand him his ass for that retarded comment.

I was busy doing a week’s worth of testing in a day to get ahead of a blizzard and be freed up to fix all the shit that’s going to break in the storm, for an additional $5/hr compared to three years ago that still didn’t meet the rate of inflation.

Maybe I should just tell myself my phone didn’t ring at 2am this morning because a train broke some more shit, that I’m not out keeping shit running in 1*F blowing snow, that I’m really at home on a false positive Covid paid sick week figuring out which reticle I want in my new TT I’m buying this week with my balling $23/hr raise. Oh wait, no I won’t, because I’m not a fucking liar.

It is also the people at the top, cutting, cutting, cutting. Not paying a reasonable wage, the execs keeping the money for themselves. Ex., the drain derailment, maintenance was cut back and cut back, until it was inadequate. Not the inspectors fault, nor the mechanics, just the greedy ones at the top.
But then all the news stories are about how the greedy workers are getting a 23 dollar an hour raise. Or how the greedy teachers all want more money. When in actuality the raise is going to be for administration because it will be a percentage. So the workers will likely remain underpaid, and admin will get become more overpaid.

Funny thing about the teacher negotiations is they have to fight like he'll for a 2-3% raise and then they agree to increased health care premiums....Their union is garbage at working for them. The superintendent did get a 40k raise though.
