Retard Drunk gets smoked by Police

Too many round fired, excessive force.

Oh and sarcasm implied.

This was circulating around at work earlier today. They said the lady he was targeting had a rifle, or it was one of her family members' rifles and she had access to it, but it was locked in a gun safe complete with a thru-chamber safety device so she had been struggling to try to get the gun operational all while experiencing the terror that her armed ex was going to smash through into the house any second, and the deputy got there quicker.

Moral of the story: Locked and "safe" guns are useless in an emergency. If you live in a household where there are children, CARRY your CCW around in your regular retention/daily rig on you, and keep everything else fully locked up.

Oh and by the way:

Dying perp: "Finish me off now".

Deputy: "Shut up"...

LOL

Must’ve been really good pussy to have a guy coming looking for her after she gets married and has kids.

ETA: obviously restraining orders and red flag bullshit don’t do anything. Have a gun and know how to use it. Cop got this one right. He needs to spend some time at the range though.

How many gunfights you been in? Curious to know.

I have been in my fair share and see nothing wrong with that the cop did. Dumped until mag lock, reload and back on target.

None, and I hope to keep it that way. All I know is that adding stress to my training was a game changer. Nothing that I’ve done is like some drunken asshole pointing a gun at you though.

ETA: for all I know the cop shot that retard where he wanted to. Stopped the threat without killing the asshole. I’d rather he’d killed the guy so we didn’t have to pay to keep him in prison.

That's what I do. All other weapons are in gun safe (of course many are ready to rock in there and I can access it very quickly) and my edc is on me accept when I go to bed, then it's up on my chest of drawers the kids can't reach.

Thinking about that Hornady rapid sage though with the RFID open+combo lock open+ key open though because they are getting big enough to potentially e able to get my pistol while I'm asleep, but they know not to and shoot with me whenever they want so it's not some big mystery to them

Pretty sure that dude took at least one round right up the pooper.

That's a lousy way to get shot up, he took all the hits to his legs, and hip area, rounds didn't seem to make it to his chest cause he was still talking. He got to feel all of those...including the one up the poop chute (most likely).

That guy got the full service treatment though, he got to ride the lightning before the fuck around and find out finale.

I'd be surprised if he lived through 17 rounds of fuck you 🤷🏼‍♂️

As far as killing him faster, he was shooting around cover to avoid getting shot. Good job IMO. Ten ringing him in the melon would end it faster, sure, but at the expense of a slower rate of fire and exposing yourself more.

As you saw, at that distance... light 'em up, you're not going to miss unless you really suck.

I doubt he made it. Looked like he took some pelvic shots. Those are tough to save. Buddy who is an ER doc at a ghetto hospital says the ones shot in the pelvis dont typically make it. Tough to get in there and stop the bleeding and lots of arteries in there to hit.

This.

When someone has body armor, pelvic shots.

He didn't survive, they declared him dead at the hospital.

Yep. DOA at local hospital. The lady he was after had an order of protection against him and after he started threatening her over the phone, stalking, and leaving notes under door telling her he was gonna "kill her and the kids", she made sure she had access to the rifle kept in the home's gun safe. It was completely locked and inoperable with child resistant devices on it when he arrived brandishing a gun.

Reminds me of the warning sign, “ this will no only kill You , it will hurt the whole time”

Seal Beach, California — On Monday, January 16, 2023, at approximately 9:36 p.m., officers from the Seal Beach Police Department responded to a call for service in the 100 block of Old Ranch Road regarding a suspicious person in front of a residence. When officers arrived, they located 47-year-old Michael Bernard Emch Jr. within the fenced-off patio area of one of the homes. The person who called the police to the home identified Emch as her ex-partner, who she had a restraining order against. Police later confirmed Emch was in violation of a restraining order. Emch told officers at the time that he was asked to go over to the home to pick up money that was owed to him, but the officer explains to him that the person he was there to see told police she wasn’t expecting anybody. As Emch exits the patio, the officer points his gun at him and tells him to put his hands up, but Emch refuses and says he’ll just leave and “go the other way.” When the officer tells him he’s not allowed to leave, Emch asks for a staff sergeant, but the officer ignores him and tells him to sit down. Instead of sitting down, Emch turns his back to the officer, holding his left hand up and his right hand in his pocket. Emch then starts walking back into the patio, but an officer Tased Emch before he could fully cross the patio door threshold. “What’s that?” the other officer asked Emch. Emch reached into his pocket and pulled out a gun, which police later said was loaded. That’s when the officers fired more than a dozen times at Emch. “Finish me off,” is what Emch tells the officers, instead an officer tells him to “shut up.” After the shooting, police officers transitioned to providing lifesaving efforts to the suspect. Emch was transported to a local hospital where he was declared deceased. A firearm was recovered from the scene. There were no physical injuries to Seal Beach Police officers as a result of the incident

Guy had a gun in his pocket and pulled it?
Yeah. No story here.
I found it weird she didn't know it was her ex. He said she called him and told him to come over and get his money.
If she did call him to come over.....genius and devious.

Not sure if the "gunfights" you have been in were in real life or virtually as a gamer, but I can tell you as a former LEO, mag dumping wasn't the answer and his shot placement was way off.

As a former soldier, only a fucking moron would give up their cover and virtually protected position while making less than optimal but effective shots for zero gain/tradeoff?

You put yourself Into danger when it's warranted. Why would he square up and massively increase his chance of catching a round when there is no reason to?

Probally a good thing you are a former LEO, you lack critical thinking and it's probally better for everyone you aren't walking around with a gun.

You have never been in a life or death fight or flight situation where someone is shooting at you, so you really can't say shit.

Was that cover or concealment?

Pretty sure bullet will go right thru a wood framed stucco wall. Slowed down but still deadly.

guess he is not a drunken boxing master
jackie-chan.gif

maybe if he was he could have avoided being shot ...

I'm willing to bet that the discrepancy between the viewing angle of the body cam, and the viewing angle of the shooting officers eyes, mean that he was able to see what he was shooting at. He kept shooting until the guy quit moving for the most part. There's one part where it would appear the guy reaches down and reacts to an impact in, or around his butthole, before getting hit another couple times......guys kinda lucky he didn't take one to the junk.

I just want to see the report at this point, I have to know.....did the officer, in a feat of remarkable marksmanship under stress, nail the stink star? Pierce the fart box? Hammer the chocolate pocket? No, i'm not obsessed with butt stuff, just commenting that the guy died a shitty death. (ok i'm done).

I guess we should call this lucky that the woman was not killed as well, or how are you guys thinking about it.

the shooting part was justified in my eyes, the person still held on to the gun for a long time and his actions were such that he really just
tried to get killed, at least to me.
