Ohh well. faghoo gave the link and it’s not working. Basically a story of when the who drummer passed out and they had a 19year old kid from the audience fill in for 3 songs in 1973. Gayhoo sucks.

Great story, he'd be about my age now.
Never got to play with the who but I did meet Steve Stills, and Eddie VH, Paul Kantner and Jack Cassidy.
What really caps off the story is Pete Townsend sending a very nice letter expressing his admiration for Halpin upon being notified of his death decades later.
