Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Crap, I spent days at a time in that very suit during my active years. Sneak a look around every 30 minutes and break the face seal to drain the sweat.

Damn, now I have to go find a suitable pic for rules.

Be sure to spit our your Beechnut Wintergreen before you don and clear. If you make that mistake, you'll only make it once. I did it long before everyone had a camera at the ready, to document my stupid.

So, now I document my stupid online with posts just like this one.

Puking in MOPP gear impacts combat effectiveness, so I heard.

When I was at George AFB, just down the road from NTC, they would have exercises every 3 months. In the summer dozens of F-4s, huffers, trucks, etc out on the flight line and everyone in MOPP 4. They’d stay in in it until the ground personnel would start passing out. Yeah, it sucked.
It sucks just to be by Victor-fucking-ville anyway but especially in summer.

Learned that lesson with Copenhagen!

We played a softball game in it once. Not sure if we got credit for PT and MOPP training, but at least it wasn't terrible.

Yes, as you can imagine - very difficult to: hit the ball, catch the ball, throw the ball, run the bases, and pretty much everything else you have to do when you play softball. (I think the reason we used a softball was to at least give us a chance to field the ball.)

No doubt they come from the annual military "voluntary" CFC donations.
Way back when at my first duty station, when CFC time came around, we got the rest of the day off if we made a donation. If you didn't, you ended up painting rocks or some other bullshit.
Friggin private e-2 making jack squat being basically shamed, threatened, embarrassed into giving your money away.
