The same guy did FDR, a pretty good cliff notes version of him. If you want to learn where LBJ got his ideas, look to FDR.
And while I am on a roll, FDR's plans did not "bring us out" of the depression, it kicked the can down the road. WWII brought us out, and FDR knew that it would. That is why he tried so hard to get the US into the war.
Hitler, at least before he went insane was not an idiot. A vet of WWI wanted to keep the US out of WWII at all costs. He knew that would be the end of it, just like it was the end of it 20 years before.
I started animal farm last week. It has been hell here lately. I am not very far in.
