Same old rolling hunk of crap I’ve been working on.
The top picture is as found in the barn after sitting for 24 years.

The plastic brake fluid bottle that’s been cut in half and hanging underneath the master cylinder to catch the leaking brake fluid.
That was some fine logger engineering right there.

Just sold my 2018 TRD Pro with 218K on it and was only in the shop for routine maintenance. Bought a new 2024 TRD Pro in Terra and plan to put a couple 100K miles on it as well. Was planning to get the Gen 6 but after research decided against it being a TC 4 banger hybrid. I think Toyota screwed the pooch with the Gen 6 and the Gen 5 may be the last real 4Runner. Will be making a new set of sliders for it in the shop this weekend.

Eagle wanting to remind the Goose who's the boss. FAFO

"The goose was spared that day."

Goose was lucky it wasn't a GOLDEN eagle.. those Mofo's are top bird. Dead sheep in a field. 8 balds eating on it in the winter. Golden flies in, 8 blads in the tree waiting for the Golden to finish. Damn those Golden Eagles are HUGE.

I was scanning the far shore of the lake from here with binos a few days ago and spotted a strange anomoly that wasn't there before. It turned out to be a Red-tailed hawk standing on top of a Great Blue Heron, feeding on it. Blue Herons, as anyone who has been up close to one knows, stand over 3' tall.

I once belonged to a hunting and fishing club. There was a small lake in the middle of 240 acres of club property. There were also various trails in the woods and around the lake.

Placed along the trails were various 3-D archery targets for members to practice their skills with the bow.

We also had a camping area where members would sometimes party until the early morning hours. One morning one member's wife decided to go for a walk along the trail. I don't know if she was still under the influence of the adult beverages or not.

While walking along one of the trails with her head down she came upon one of the standing bear 3-D targets.

When she lifted her eyes and saw the bear, her screams could be heard into the next county.
