Rim x for vudoo

I have never seen or heard of anyone doing it. If there is some new mod that I am not aware of, I am all for it. If they worked, most Vudoo users would run the RimX mags. I'd watch the video if you link it.
I own both rifles. RimX mags will fit in a Vudoo and vice versa (AICS footprint) but won't feed.
Yes, the RimX aluminum mags are beautifully designed and made. But they cost $125 each, Zermatt has never bothered to try to make 12- or 15-rounders, the 5-round Zermatt extension is another $55, and trying to cram rounds 11-15 of super-slick Lapua or SK ammo into a $180!!!!!!!!!! extended magazine on a hot day is an exercise in annoyance.
I've been perfectly happy with my $45 (current price) Vudoo polymer magazines, now going into their 6th year of use with no discernible signs of wear. I am also fortunate in that (discontinued) 15-round aluminum mags function flawlessly in my MPA-chassis'ed gen-1 V22 (yes, they ABSOLUTELY MUST be loaded correctly or a stoppage is practically guaranteed).
It definitely appears that Vudoo outright abandoned completion of their second generation 12/15-round mags after the ownership change. Pity.
I don't think so. If anything, it's the other way around - I would run Vudoo mags in my RimX. I tried. Why? COST, pure and simple.

Over the years I've wondered if Vudoo's original, massively-overbuilt 12/15 round aluminum mags got pulled because they would misfeed/stop if the cartridge column was misaligned (photo) and a user had to be so.bleeping.careful. to load them correctly.
Explanation: note the staggered appearance of the bullets in the stack. If two rounds stack on the same side of the mag, a stoppage will occur there. It also happens with 10-rounders but somewhat less frequently.
The ModX Conversion by MCR will allow a RimX to properly feed with a Vudoo magazine and a RimX magazine. A vudoo action will not feed with a RimX magazine do to a few things. Im sure machining can be done but why? Vudoo mags at $35 each are cheap and replaceable.
I bought one of the Vudoo aluminum 15rd mags years ago, but it's still sitting on the shelf where I put it after opening the package. I also bought a couple of the L3i aluminum mags last year, but so far, have had no success getting them to feed in my Gen 1 or 360 rifles. The 10rd poly mags just work, and the times I've needed larger capacity mags have been so few & far between recently that I've lost interest in messing with extended mags. I only shoot 22RF matches at one semi-local club, and the match directors don't seem to care about working at course design that requires extended capacity mags, which is just fine with me...
The single Rim-X I've owned has never given any feeding issues - aside from short-stroking it a few times when I first got it put together, which resulted in chipping the extractor & having to replace it. But Zermatt was quick in sending out an improved replacement, and that's been it as far as feeding issues are concerned.

As far as the Vudoo mags. if you load them correctly, making sure each round is settled in place, they never seem to fail. 2600+ rounds without one rim lock.
Capacity beyond ten rounds is a problem, so I always have a spare magazine on me when shooting and when practicing I always incorporate dropping and replacing magazines on the clock. With a mag holder on my belt, it only takes a few short seconds, if one is ready. Not the best solution, but it is a solution.

There is no problem with capacity past 10 with Vudoo mags. Quite a few aftermarket extensions are for sale and work fine.
My original Vudoo 15 round aluminum mags work great as long as I load them with a mag loader (I use a JKL) I have 2 of the mags. I’m in a RimX phase so won’t be using them much.
