I'm looking for options for a clip on, flip to the side, thermal imagining device. Seems like, the Trijicon OASYS SkeetRx Micro Thermal Monocular w/Articulating Rifle Mount SKEETIRX-IRLAS-MT at EuroOptic is the only thing available. And that costs $12,750! I know I'm missing something (lots) so I need your collective wisdom. Yes, the device needs to be both clip on AND flip to the side. To much to ask? Let me know. Thanks from an Old Fart.

The SkeetIR does not support very much mag at all and isnt a very good clip on. RH25 or Voodoo S are your options. Voodoo S is superior but drastically more expensive.

The Wilcox mount works well. I am not sure how its zero retention is for non-collinlmated thermals though. My stuff is all collimated.

AGM StingIR is probably the best flip-to-side as it is the most compact and American Defense Manufacturing made a flip mount specifically for it. I have one that I am selling to fund a wedding. DM sent to OP.

I used mine (RH25) in both the FTS and ADM mount. I was able to make hits at 500yd using both. I will say, I typically used the FTS on my 11.5 556 and my 13.5 MWS 308. Mainly due to both of those guns having a white light and set up for pigs, deer, and yotes within 300yd. The ADM I keep on a 14.5 as a loaner setup.
